Our deadline has passed and we received a record number of LOIs.  We received almost twice as many LOIs in comparison to previous years so the board has a lot of work and difficult decisions ahead of them.  We're expecting the board to meet sometime in July to finalize which applications they will invite to submit full grant proposals so stay tuned.

Our board of directors met yesterday and approved ten grants in the total amount of $47,140.  Spring 2012 approved grants list will be updated on our website shortly.  Grant agreements are in the mail.  We also finalized our Spring 2013 grant focuses so please be sure to check our website for details.  We appreciate the time that each of the applicants gave us for site visits so that we could learn more about their work.  A big thank you to our Volunteer Program Officers, Patricia and Susan, for their hard work and dedication.
