Michele received her B.A. degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California at San Diego, and her M.B.A. in Information Systems from Golden Gate University. She worked for 15-years in the hi-tech industry for several companies (Sun Microsystems, Sequent Computer Systems, and Intel Corp.) initially as a Software Engineer and later as a Marketing Manager. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Portland Women's Foundation and Volved.
