The Board of Directors for the Foundation met on Monday, November 9th, 2015 and awarded nine grants in the areas of Environment and Health & Human Services for a total amount of $86,000. In addition, a John Lam Fund discretionary grant was awarded as part of this grant cycle.
The board of directors met on April 20th, 2015 and awarded ten grants in the Arts & Culture and Education categories for a total of $69,100. A grant awards list will be posted to this website soon.
The board of directors met on November 6th and distributed a total of $86,000 in grants. Our website has been updated with a list of the nonprofits that received grants from us in this round.
Our board of directors met last week to discuss their reviews of all 46 letters of interest. They invited 17 organizations to submit grant proposals. Our volunteer Program Officers will be spending one hour with each of these 17 organizations over the phone to discuss their requests in more detail and to get to know the organizations better prior to our November 6th board meeting where we will approve grants. At that board meeting, we will also discuss and finalize our focuses for the Fall 2015 grant cycle.
We received a total of 46 Letters of Interest: 10 in the category of Environment and 36 in the category of Health & Human Services. The board is scheduled to meet on August 7th to discuss their review of the LOIs and to decide which organizations to invite to submit grant proposals.
The Board of Directors met and approved a total of 9 grants. Three grants were awarded in the Arts & Culture category and five grants were awarded in the Education category. Awards are all posted on our website as FYI.
Our board meeting is confirmed for May 8th at which time they will make their grant funding decisions for this grant cycle. We have a total of 15 grant requests under consideration.

The board of directors met today, October 22nd, and approved a total of 12 grants for our Fall 2013 grant cycle. Grant amounts ranged from $5,000-$6,000 each. If you submitted a grant proposal and haven't heard from us yet, you will before the end of this week.
